RICHBOROUGH ESTATES SECURES PLANNING CONSENT FOR 130-HOME WARWICKSHIRE SITE
Strategic land promotion company & LPDF member Richborough Estates has received planning consent for a development of 131 homes at Hampton Magna in Warwickshire.
The outline application for the 17.23 acre (6.97 ha) site, accessed from the existing Daly Avenue, was granted by the local authority, Warwickshire County Council.
The landscape-led design includes provision for up to 131 dwellings, 40% of which will be affordable, with some 4 acres of the site given over for the delivery of green infrastructure including open space, allotments and a children’s play area.
Richborough Estates is supported by David Barnes of Star Planning who led in the delivery of this planning consent.
Martyn Grimes, Richborough Estates, said: “The site occupies a sustainable location and the landscape-led design gives significant focus to open spaces and green boulevards, ensuring a ‘soft edge’ to the development and one that aligns with the existing settlement.
“This development site represents a logical extension to Hampton Magna, with the capacity to deliver a broad selection of styles and type of homes, including custom or self-build properties.
“We are now seeking expressions of interest from developers looking for opportunities to deliver high quality homes in a well-defined and well-connected urban setting.”
Warwick Parkway Railway Station is less than a mile to the northeast, with regular services running to Birmingham and London, and local bus routes operate throughout the area. The nearby Junction 15 of the M40 provides access to the national motorway network.
