Inspired Villages is a developer and operator of retirement communities in the UK who are majority owned and fully funded by Legal & General.  A retirement community may also be referred to as retirement villages, extra care or housing-with-care combines housing options for older people with tailored support services.  Residents rent or own a property to maintain their privacy and independence with the reassurance of 24-hour on-site staff, communal facilities and optional care and support as needed.  Inspired Villages has six operational villages in the UK, with a further 14 legally secured and under construction, with planning permission or in planning and has aspirations to deliver 60 villages within the next ten years.
